THE WITCH OF EDMONTON
A full production of this Jacobean masterpiece, directed by Jesse Berger. Red Bull Theater presents the premiere production of The Witch of Edmonton On or Off Broadway.  In a new adaptation of the original play by William Rowley, Thomas Dekker and John Ford, this rarely-performed classic tragicomedy explores the nature of evil and the power of community (for both good and bad) in a small town outside of London.  Featuring a cameo appearance of the devil in the shape of a dog, Red Bull Theater’s upcoming production will offer New York theater-goers the chance to experience this fascinating, strange, funny, frightening, and disturbingly timely tale, starting performances on January 25, 2011, at the Theater at St Clement’s.
