Wendy McClellan, Development Director

Wendy McClellan began with Red Bull Theater as a Development Consultant and Grantwriter. She has also consulted with New York-based Houses on the Moon Theater Company, terraNOVA Collective and Women’s Project. During her four years as Director of the Apprentice/Intern Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville, she worked closely with institutional stakeholders to create named giving opportunities within the Apprentice program and collaborated with the Development department to increase the program’s budget by 50%. While Artistic Director of Oasis Theatre Company in Los Angeles , she developed the company’s first strategic plan and tripled the annual budget. She has served as the General Manager for A.S.K. Theater Projects, Capital Campaign Consultant for Phoenix House, Program Evaluator for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Grants Administrator at Center Theater Group, Los Angeles . She is a member of SSDC and holds a degree from North Carolina School of the Arts.
