Timeless Stories, Timely Theater.
Red Bull Theater produces fully realized productions of plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries alongside other plays of heightened language. Join us as we continue to create a home for imaginative productions of great classic stories.
Previous productions have included The Revenger's Tragedy, Shakespeare's Pericles, Webster's Duchess of Malfi, Middleton's Women Beware Women, Marlowe's Edward the Second, and Dekker, Ford & Rowley's Witch of Edmonton. In 2012, we will produce Jean Genet's The Maids and Ben Jonson's Volpone. Plays under consideration for the future include: ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Don Carlos, A Woman Killed with Kindness, The Government Inspector, Creditors, The Maid's Tragedy, and The Tempest.

Developing the Classics of the Future. This laboratory series provides an artistic bridge between Revelation Readings and Full Productions, providing full-fledged workshops for new projects under development. Each In The Raw workshop includes public presentations of the work-in-process, sharing the project's development with our audience as we work to create classics for the future.
Previous workshops have included plays based on work by Alfred de Musset, Virginia Woolf, and Shakespeare. This season we will workshop a play inspired by Virgil's Aeneid.
