Available throughout the year and taught by top working professionals including Kathleen Chalfant, John Douglas Thompson, Olympia Dukakis, Heidi Griffiths, and Patrick Page, Red Bull Theater’s intensives and workshops cover a variety of disciplines, including auditioning, text, voice, movement, clowning, stage combat, and acting Shakespeare.
Classes are open to adults at all levels of training or experience. They range from one to six days with limited class sizes to allow one-on-one attention. You can enroll in any combination of classes, or take the whole series for a yearlong master training experience.

Kathleen Chalfant is an Outer Circle Critics, Drama Desk, Obie and Lucille Lortel award winner, as well as a Tony nominee for her work in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. She achieved critical and popular success with her leading performance in the Off-Broadway production of Wit as well as the Broadway productions of M. Butterfly, Angels in America and Racing Demon. Her screen credits include The Laramie Project and "House of Cards."
Elizabeth Smith is one of America’s most renowned voice and speech professionals. She has been a consultant for film, television, regional theater, Broadway, and Off-Broadway productions, including As You Like It, Road to Moscow, Henry IV, Engaged, Sight Unseen. She has taught at Yale School of Drama, Vassar College, Juilliard School, National Theater Institute, Moscow Art Theatre School, RADA, and more.

His work spans five continents and appears on the silver screen with films like The Game Plan, Dan in Real Life, and Hamlet starring Campbell Scott. He was the chief stunt coordinator for Guiding Light for 12 years and staged fights for First Jedi for George Lucas. Rick teaches at The New School for Drama, the Yale School of Drama and The Neighborhood Playhouse, and has directed stage fights for many of Red Bull Theater's productions.

Olympia Dukakis is an Academy Award and Golden Globe winner for her iconic performance in Moonstruck. She has performed in over 130 productions on Broadway, the West End, Off-Broadway and regionally at theatres including A.C.T., Shakespeare in the Park, Shakespeare & Co., and the Williamstown Summer Theatre Festival, where she also served as Associate Director. She taught acting at NYU for fourteen years and teaches master classes for colleges and universities across the country. She has received Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Greek America Foundation and the National Arts Club Medal of Honor and received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Olympia is the recipient of a Red Bull Theater Matador Award for Achievement in Classical Theater.

Jesse Berger is the founding artistic director of Red Bull Theater. He has directed productions of Pericles, The Revenger’s Tragedy, Edward the Second, Women Beware Women, The Duchess of Malfi, The Witch of Edmonton, The Maids, Loot, and Volpone. Jesse’s adaptations of The Revenger’s Tragedy and Women Beware Women are published by Dramatists Play Service. Jesse has also directed across the country at Denver Center Theatre Company, The Old Globe, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, New York Theater Workshop, SoHo Rep, Pearl Theatre, Barrington Stage, St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, the Asolo Theatre Company, and many more.
Matthew Rauch is a classical theater star on the rise. Most recently he appeared as the title role in Macbeth at Hartford Stage. His stage credits include Broadway’s The Merchant of Venice, and Prelude to a Kiss, and Off-Broadway’s Kin, Still Life and The Winter's Tale. His TV work includes "Banshee", "Blue Bloods" and "Treme". He starred in the Red Bull Theater productions of The Revenger’s Tragedy, Edward II and The Duchess of Malfi.

Working with carefully assigned scenes, students will be exposed to a broad range of teachers and working professionals to develop all aspects of their craft.
Patrick Page is one of America's leading Shakespearean actors. Patrick has played Hamlet, Richard II, Richard III, Oberon, Henry V, Armado, Mercutio, Brutus, Antony, Autolycus, Malvolio, Claudius, Iago, Jaques, Macbeth, Benedick, and many more, at theaters like the Shakespeare Theater DC, the Old Globe in San Diego and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He recently starred on Broadway as the Green Goblin in Spider Man: Turn off the Dark, and in Harvey Fierstein's Casa Valentina, as well as The Duchess of Malfi for Red Bull Theater.
Michael Sexton is the Artistic Director of The Shakespeare Society in NYC. His recent directing credits include As You Like It and Henry V at Two River Theater Company, Kelly Masterson’s Edith with Jayne Atkinson and Jack Gilpin at the Berkshire Theater Festival, and Titus Andronicus with Jay O. Sanders at the Public Theater. He has taught at Princeton University, Rutgers University, the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and NYU.
