Director

Marc Vietor has appeared in plays in New York (including at The Red Bull Theater, the New York Shakespeare Festival, the Roundabout, TFANA, and the Juilliard School), Massachusetts (Huntington, the Williamstown Theater Festival), Washington D.C. (the Kennedy Center, the Arena Stage), California (the Old Globe, South Coast Repertory), Virginia (the Virginia Stage), Illinois (the Ravinia Festival) and Kentucky (the Humana Festival).  He has narrated numerous audiobooks, for which he was won some awards.  Over an eight year period he worked variously as an assistant, an associate, and musical director for Michael Langham at the Stratford Festival, the Hartford Stage, and on Broadway at the Roundabout, the National Actors’ Theater, and the Walter Kerr.  Although he has directed elaborate staged readings and concerts, helped to create the Yale Musical Theater of the Air and re-staged a production of The Moliere Comedies for the Roundabout at the Ford Center, he regards this production of The School for Scandal as his directorial debut.
