Jesse Berger

Since founding Red Bull Theater in 2003, Jesse Berger (he/him) has directed productions of Pericles, The Revenger’s Tragedy, Edward the Second, Women Beware Women, The Duchess of Malfi, The Witch of Edmonton, The Maids, Volpone, Loot, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, The Changeling, and The Government Inspector for the company.  Jesse’s adaptations of The Revenger’s Tragedy and Women Beware Women are published by Dramatists Play Service. Red Bull Theater produces a variety of classical and contemporary work under Jesse’s leadership, including the OBIE Award-Winning Revelation Reading Series, free Bull Session discussions, Shakespeare in Schools outreach, Master Classes for classical acting, the annual Short New Play Festival, and ....keep reading

Sherri Kotimsky

Managing Director

Sherri (she/her) came to Red Bull Theater as General Manager in August 2015, after serving as bookkeeper for a year. Her career as General Manager, Finance Consultant, Production Manager and Producer extend back to years at The Mint Theater, Theater Breaking Through Barriers, Naked Angels, Pace University’s Schimmel Center, Pearl Theater and MCC Theater. During a 13-year break from Theater, was the Financial Controller for the Netherlands Board of Tourism.

Nathan Winkelstein

Producing Director

Nathan (he/him) has been with Red Bull Theater for ten years. He is the Producing Director of the Revelation Reading Series as well as the host of Red Bull Podcasts, the Director of Education and the Casting Associate for Red Bull. Nathan has acted or directed for numerous companies around the country, including The Alley, NYU Grad, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Shakespeare Theater Company, LCT, The Folger, American Shakespeare Center, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, and others. Dubbed 'The Pied Piper of Shakespeare' Nathan provides private acting coaching to select clients and has taught for Red Bull, STC, LCT, TGS and Maggie Flanagan Studio. Nathan received his BA in Theater from the University at Buffalo and his MFA in Classical Acting from the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the UK. Nathan is a proud member of Actors' Equity and SDC.

Jessica Fornear

Marketing and Operations Manager

Jessica (she/her) has been working with Red Bull Theater for six years as a stage manager, OBS designer, administrative fellow, and marketing and producing associate. Jessica received her associate degree in theatre, film, and television from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and her bachelors degree in business management from the College of Staten Island. Before Red Bull, Jessica worked as a freelance stage manager for numerous companies and universities in and around New York City and completed a stage management apprenticeship at the Juilliard School.

Alice Renier

Associate Director of Education

ALICE RENIER (she,her) is a theater artist and educator who specializes in working with heightened text.  Previous to joining the administrative staff of Red Bull Theater she has held positions as a teacher, consultant, and administrator for The Shakespeare Society, The Public Theater, Classic Stage Company, Red Bull Theater, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, and Columbia University.  She is a certified facilitator with Alchemy Inc, a nonprofit that uses the power of myth and storytelling to mentor young people and adults.  She is a founding member of Apocalyptic Artists Ensemble.

Casting Director

Alexandre Bleau has been with Jim Carnahan Casting since 2013. Red Bull: The Imaginary Invalid, Two Gentleman of Verona, Country Wife.
