Jim (he/him) is non-profit arts professional with over twenty years experience as an administrator, marketer and manager. He served as General Manager of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. As a marketer and fundraiser, he has accomplished objectives for a number of organizations including The Shakespeare Society, Carnegie Hall's Spring for Music, Ecstatic Music Festival, and Kaufman Music Center. Jim has been Managing Director for Red Bull Theater since the 2014 season, producing 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Coriolanus, The Government Inspector and more. Sherri (she/her) came to Red Bull Theater as General Manager in August 2015, after serving as bookkeeper for a year. Her career as General Manager, Finance Consultant, Production Manager and Producer extend back to years at The Mint Theater, Theater Breaking Through Barriers, Naked Angels, Pace University’s Schimmel Center, Pearl Theater and MCC Theater. During a 13-year break from Theater, was the Financial Controller for the Netherlands Board of Tourism.
Associate Artistic Director
Nathan (he/him) has been with Red Bull Theater for four years. He is the Producing Director of The Revelation Reading Series as well as Education Director of Shakespeare in Schools and the Masterclass offerings. He also serves as the casting associate for Red Bull. Nathan is the NY Casting Associate for American Shakespeare Center. He has acted or directed for numerous companies around the country and in the UK, including Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Shakespeare Theater Company, W.H.A.T., LCT, The Folger, The Tobacco Factory, American Shakespeare Center and others. Nathan has taught for Red Bull, STC, LCT, WHAT, TGS and Shakespeare Forum; he also provides private acting coaching in NYC. Nathan received his BA in Theater from the University at Buffalo and his MFA in Classical Acting from the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the UK. Nathan is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Lanise Antoine Shelley (she/her) is an actress, director, playwright and the Artistic Director of The House Theatre of Chicago. Her first full length play, Pretended, was developed by Paramount Theatre. She also hosts the podcast When They Were Young: Amplifying Voices of Adoptees available on all major platforms including her website. As an actress, she is known for Chicago Fire, Empire, Chicago Med, Discovery World, Macbeth HD and Goodman Theatre's School Girls; The African Mean Girls Play. Selected directing credits include Blue Man Manakin (Rising Sun Theatre Company), Pretended (Paramount), Rastus and Hattie, Black and Blue, and movement consultant for Muthaland (16th Street Theater), Hear Me See Me (Silent Theatre), The Luck of the Irish (virtual reading), Identity Lab (Lookingglass Theatre), The Tenant (Akvavit Theatre), RefuSHE Project (Voices & Faces Project), Rumors (DePaul University), and a staged reading of The Convert (Stratford Shakespeare Festival). She holds a BFA in Directing, Acting and Playwriting from Cornish College of the Arts, an MFA from ART/MXAT at Harvard University, and a certificate in Classical Theatre from both BADA in Oxford, England, and Birmingham Conservatory in Canada. Awards/ Fellowships include Stratford Shakespeare Festival’s Chicago Fellow 2016, Victory Gardens Theater’s Directing Fellow 2019 and Drama League Classical Directing Fellow 2021.
David Gersten & Associates served as press representatives and marketing consultants on Broadway and Off for over twenty years. In addition to Red Bull Theater (12 seasons), other not-for profit theaters currently represented include Ensemble for the Romantic Century, Godlight Theatre Company, INTAR, Keen Company, Mint Theater, NAATCO, and Project Shaw/GTG, among others. Stuart Howard has been the casting director for Red Bull Theater for the past eleven years. Stuart casts for Broadway, Off-Broadway, National and International tours and for several regional theaters. In New York City, he has taught at The Juilliard School, Brooklyn College and Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
