MEET THE CAST

AMARA JAMES AJA (Marcello / Officer) is thrilled to be making his Red Bull Theater debut. Previous credits include In The Heat of the Night (Barter Theatre), Hamlet, Love's Labour's Lost, and The Blameless (The Old Globe), and Much Ado About Nothing and The Tempest (Ithaca Shakespeare Company). Amara holds an MFA from The Old Globe and University of San Diego, and a bachelor's degree in Government from Cornell University.

Off-Broadway: Taylor Mac's Hir (Playwright's Horizons), Jesse Eisenberg's The Revisionist (Rattlestick), Russian Transport (New Group), 27th Man, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Public), John Patrick Shanley's Cellini (Second Stage) and his Missing Marissa (Primary Stages). CHERIE CORINNE RICE (Zanche / Giovanni) is thrilled to be making her Red Bull debut in The White Devil. Rice is most known for her work on comedy series, "Nightcap" (Lionsgate, Hulu). She has graced the stage at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis in Romeo & Juliet, The Winter's Tale, and Othello; Viola/Sebastian in Twelfth Night at Trinity Rep in Rhode Island. Rice is a graduate of the Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Acting program and UC Berkeley's Theater and Performance Studies program. She's currently Head of Voice at Professional Performing Arts School. Voice/Dialect coach at Audible.com, Huntington Theater Company, Lyric Stage Company and NYC Fridge Festival.


SOCORRO SANTIAGO (Cornelia / Matron, Doctor Julio) Red Bull debut. Broadway: The Bacchae at Circle in the Square.
