HISPANIC GOLDEN AGE CLASSICS
SOR JUANA
SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2021
Presented in collaboration with Repertorio Español and Diversifying the Classics | UCLA, this four-part series of events will focus on a play by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, the famous playwright, poet, and nun writing in Mexico in the latter half of the 17th-century.
is a multi-part initiative of Red Bull Theater to provide an engaging and educational experience for all who are interested in Shakespeare’s Othello and the world in which we live. Benefit Series events run October 5-22, 2020.

Red Bull Theater is committed to expanding our repertoire by seeking out and sharing lesser-known texts that stand the test of time. Love is the Greater Labyrinth (Amor es más laberinto) by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz–one of the Hispanic Golden Age’s most accomplished female playwrights–is just such a play. These events were held September 15-October 15, 2021,
