JESSE BERGER (Director). For Red Bull Theater, Jesse has directed productions of Pericles, Revenger’s Tragedy, Edward the Second, Women Beware Women, The Duchess of Malfi, The Witch of Edmonton, The Maids, Loot, Volpone, ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, and The Changeling. Jesse has also directed contemporary and classic plays and musicals for the Old Globe, Denver Center, Pittsburgh Public, PlayMakers Rep, Barrington Stage, the O’Neill, and elsewhere including the Great Lakes, Idaho, St. Louis, Arizona, Hamptons, and Utah Shakespeare Festivals. Jesse’s work has been recognized with Helen Hayes and Obie Awards, as well as nominations for Lucille Lortel, Drama League, and Callaway Awards. Jesse has taught and directed at Juilliard, NYU Grad, UNCSA, and other universities and training programs. Jesse was raised in Oregon to NYC expat-parents, grew up attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and received undergraduate training at Central College in London and Southern Utah University, home of the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Jesse was assistant director of Michael Kahn’s Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC for three seasons, was the 1999 US Directing Fellow at Shakespeare’s Globe in London under Mark Rylance, and began his professional career as an assistant director to Garland Wright at The Guthrie Theater. A member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, New York Theater Workshop’s Usual Suspects, Lincoln Center Theater Director’s Lab, and an NEA/TCG Director, Jesse also sits on the National Advisory Board of SUU’s College of Performing and Visual Arts, and the Drama League Directors Project’s National Advisory Council.

TILLY GRIMES (Costume Design) is an English theatre designer based New York. Recent Credits include Lightning Rod Special’s Underground Railroad Game at Ars Nova (Lortel Nomination), Bess Wohl’s Small Mouth Sounds directed by Rachel Chavkin, Kingdom Come by Jenny Rachel Weiner directed by Kip Fagan at Roundabout. Awards include The Balsamo Grant for Emerging Immigrant Artists, The Irish Arts Design Award, Irish Times Theatre Award Nomination and The Onstage Critics Award. New York credits include theatres such as Roundabout, Ars Nova, The Foundry, Red Bull Theatre, Cherry Lane, The Pearl, Clubbed Thumb, Here Arts Centre, The Barrow Group, The Pearl, New Georges & La Mama Theatre Club. Regional work includes - The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Alley Theatre, Goodspeed Opera, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Wilma, Hudson Valley Shakespeare, Two Rivers Theatre Company, Trinity Repertory Company, Pittsburgh Public and Westport County Playhouse. Recent designs include A Star Has Burnt My Eye (BAM Next Wave, directed by Paul Lazar), Riot Antigone (La Mama, directed by Seonjae Kim), and Furry/La Furia! (The Bushwick Starr, directed by William Burke). She is the resident lighting designer for the Ubumuntu Arts Festival in Rwanda. ANDREW DIAZ (Properties Master/Assistant Scenic Designer) Red Bull Theater: Coriolanus, Volpone and The Dance of Death. Andrew is a Brooklyn based set and props designer. Has worked in collaboration with: Roundabout Theatre, The Flea Theatre, The Bay Street Theater, The Vineyard Theatre, The Signature Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, Carnegie Hall, Classic Stage Company, Primary Stages, The Public, Theater For A New Audience, Cherry Lane Theater, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, among others. BFA University of Arizona School Of Theater Arts.

 

STUART HOWARD (Casting) Stuart Howard has been the casting director for Red Bull Theater for the past ten years.  Stuart casts for Broadway, Off-Broadway, National and International tours and for several regional theaters. In New York City, he has taught at The Juilliard School, Brooklyn College and Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

 

DAVID GERSTEN & ASSOCIATES (Press Representatives) has served as press representatives and marketing consultants on Broadway and off for over twenty years. In addition to Red Bull (11 seasons), other not-for profit theaters currently represented include INTAR, Keen Company, Mint Theater, NAATCO, TACT, and Shaw Project/GTG, among others. David serves on the Board of Governors of ATPAM, the Association of Theatrical Press Agents & Managers and is a member of the Off-Broadway League and a founder of the Off-Broadway Alliance.
