We resolve to correct inequities. We will implement policies, programs, and practices that dismantle racism within all aspects of our organization.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Red Bull Theater acknowledges the land politically designated as New York City to be the homeland of the Lenape (Lenapehoking) who were violently displaced as a result of European settler colonialism over the course of 400 years. We recognize that this is the traditional, ancestral, unceded land of the Lenape Peoples past and present. The Lenape are a diasporic people that remain closely connected with this land and are its rightful stewards. We also recognize that New York City has one of the largest urban Native American / Indigenous populations in the United States.
We also recognize that our work and mission is not centering Natice American / Indigenous voices, and as a result have not appropriately addressed the needs of the communities and their experiences with discrimination.
Red Bull Theater is committed to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) initiatives that will not discriminate against any voices or persons, including, but not limited to, The Lenape Peoples.
